During Production Inspection (DPI)

The During Production Inspection (DPI) is conducted when at least 30% of the order has been completed. This intermediate inspection ensures that production conforms to contractual requirements regarding product specifications, packaging, and marking. DPI is particularly suitable for large-volume shipments, products with continuous manufacturing processes, orders with strict on-time delivery requirements, and as a follow-up measure when previous Initial Production Inspection (IPI) results were unsatisfactory.

DPI allows on-site identification of issues and immediate recommendations, helping to maintain consistent product quality throughout the production cycle.

Main Check Points for DPI:

Monitor production progress and confirm the quantity completed against the schedule.
Assess the current production status and workflow efficiency.
Verify that products conform to specifications, including packaging, packing, and labeling requirements.
Ensure all measuring and production equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
Provide recommendations for improving product quality and reducing defect rates.
Confirm that materials and semi-finished/finished products comply with the import country’s applicable standards.
